Supervisor: Ms. Kimberly Judge, Director of Special Education Employment Period: 10 months Employment Status: Full-time Salary: Commensurate with experience Start Date: August 2025 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes diagnostic batteries to determine articulation, voice, fluency, language, and pragmatic disorders. Prepares reports with testing results, recommendations for remediation and therapy plans appropriate to individual needs. Develops learning goals and objectives and guides the instructional process toward achievement of these goals. Responsible for new entrant screening of all students new to Hampton City Schools throughout the school year. Participates in annual child find for children ages 2-5; assesses speech/language/hearing. Assesses the accomplishments of the student and provides progress reports. Counsels colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis concerning student needs and progress. Completes all required documentation for Medicaid billing.
