About the role:
You’ll be supporting veterans and their families at the CalVet Los Angeles facility, focusing on functional independence and day-to-day quality of life.
What you’ll do:
- Provide individualized OT services focused on ADLs, mobility, and independence
- Support areas like motor planning, sensory integration, and community reintegration
- Work with assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and splinting where needed
- Collaborate closely with nurses, SLPs, PTs, physicians, and caregivers
- Deliver therapy in a structured, supportive clinical setting
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reporting
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active California OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- NBCOT certification preferred (OTR candidates welcome)
- Experience in adult rehab (neuro/ortho) is a plus
- Comfort with assistive devices and adaptive strategies
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Compensation & benefits:
- Up to $50/hour (W-2) or up to $65/hour (1099)
