ABOUT THE ROLE
Liricare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time school-based opportunity in St. Helens, Oregon for the 2026–2027 school year.
This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility of working three days in person and two days virtually each week. The anticipated caseload is approximately 30–50 students.
You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary special education teams to help students develop the functional, sensory, motor, and daily living skills they need to participate successfully in the school environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
- Support students with fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school-based needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility evaluations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and classroom strategies when appropriate.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
- Provide services both onsite and virtually according to the assigned schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license.
- NBCOT certification preferred.
- School-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with IEPs, evaluations, and school-based documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable providing services in both in-person and virtual settings.
- Ability to work onsite in St. Helens three days per week.
- Available for the assignment from September 1, 2026 through June 9, 2027.
