Make up to $45/hour on W-2 or $60/hour on 1099 while supporting students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative, in-person school environment. We’re currently seeking full-time and part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to support students in Contra Costa County, California. This is an in-person, school-based role ideal for clinicians who enjoy hands-on support and working closely with Occupational Therapists and school teams. Liricare is a people-first platform focused on long-term success for clinicians. - Transparent pay with clear, upfront rates - Smart AI tools (Liri AI) to streamline documentation and reporting - Dedicated support from experienced school services professionals - Long-term partnerships with school districts - Ongoing guidance throughout your assignment About the Role: - Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT - Provide direct services aligned with student IEP goals - Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation - Collaborate with teachers and special education teams - Assist with data collection and progress monitoring - Maintain accurate service documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines - Participate in IEP meetings when appropriate Schedule: - Full-time and part-time opportunities available - In-person role in Contra Costa County - Assignment begins ASAP and runs through the school year What You’ll Need? - Active California COTA license - Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt interventions as needed - Comfortable working in structured school environments Compensation & Structure: - Earn up to $55/hour on W-2 or $70/hour on 1099, based on experience - Flexible structure depending on availability - Dedicated Liricare support throughout your placement Ready to Apply?
