About the Role:
- Provide virtual school-based physical therapy services to K–12 students
- Conduct evaluations and review-of-records assessments
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and submit all required documentation
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and service coordinators
- Use Liricare’s tools and MARVIN for service logging and reporting
Schedule:
- Flexible caseloads for part-time or full-time availability
- 2025–2026 school year commitment preferred
- Option for renewal based on performance and district needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy sessions via teletherapy
- Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports
- Submit timely progress notes, service logs, and discharge summaries
- Maintain all required compliance documentation
What You’ll Need
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
- Active California PT License issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California
- Experience providing virtual therapy preferred
- Familiarity with educational settings and IEP service delivery
- Comfort using documentation platforms such as MARVIN
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a current California resident for this remote role
- Live Scan DOJ/FBI background clearance and subsequent arrest notification enrollment
- Annual TB test
- Annual Mandated Reporter Training (mandatedreporterca.com)
- Annual Behavior Intervention Training (AB 1172) (within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to provide required documentation prior to starting, including:
- CA PT License
- Background clearance date and location
- Mandated Reporter and Behavior Intervention certificates
- Signed Case Worker Acknowledgement Form
