ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Part-Time Physical Therapist to support students in San Diego County, CA
In this role, you'll work with students who have a variety of physical, developmental, and mobility-related needs, helping them access their educational environment and participate more fully in school activities. You'll collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, families, and other service providers to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support student success.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $68–$75/hour (W-2)
- Up to $90/hour (1099)
- 10–11 hours per week

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide school-based physical therapy services to students with disabilities
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Support student mobility, positioning, balance, strength, and functional access within the educational environment
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend IEP meetings as required
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Active California Physical Therapy license
- School-based experience preferred
- Knowledge of special education processes and IEPs preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary team
