Middle School Emotional Support Teacher (Grades 6–8) — New Holland, PA Make upto $55/hour. We are hiring a Middle School Emotional Support Teacher to serve students in grades 6–8 in New Holland, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting learners who benefit from targeted emotional, behavioral, and academic interventions. Your Role: - Provide direct instruction to students with emotional and behavioral support needs - Implement individualized behavior plans and evidence-based SEL strategies - Maintain a structured classroom environment that promotes safety and regulation - Collaborate with related service providers, families, and IEP teams - Develop and monitor student IEP goals related to academics, behavior, and SEL - Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation - Lead or support small-group intervention sessions - Support crisis-prevention protocols and restorative practices Schedule - Full-time, Monday–Friday - 7:10 AM – 2:40 PM - On-site in New Holland, PA - Follows the academic school year schedule What You’ll Need: - Pennsylvania Instructional Certification in Special Education (Grades PK–8 or 7–12) - Experience working with students who have emotional or behavioral support needs - Strong de-escalation, communication, and relationship-building skills - Ability to implement trauma-informed and SEL-aligned strategies - Collaborative mindset and reliable follow-through - Special Education PK-8 and/or Special Education N-12 Compensation & Options - W2 Employee: - $35–$40/hour - Eligibility for school-year schedule benefits - Ongoing program support 1099 Contractor - upto $55/hour - Flexible earning potential - Weekly or biweekly payments About New Holland, Pennsylvania: New Holland offers a supportive school community, a close-knit small-town feel, and a strong emphasis on student-centered programming.
