We’re currently seeking a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (Special Day Class) to support preschool-aged students in Berkeley, CA. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about early intervention, developmental learning, and building strong foundations for young learners with IEPs. Liricare is a people-first platform focused on long-term success for educators and districts. - Transparent pay with clear, upfront rates - Smart AI tools (Liri AI) to streamline documentation and reporting - Dedicated support with credentialing, onboarding, and compliance - Ongoing partnership with school districts and administrators - Personalized support throughout your assignment About the Role: - Provide direct instruction in a preschool Special Day Class setting - Implement IEP goals through developmentally appropriate strategies - Support students with moderate learning needs - Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, support staff, and related service providers - Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation - Maintain compliance with district and state requirements Schedule: - Full-time position for the current school year - Classroom hours: 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday - Additional time for meetings, preparation, and trainings as needed - In-person position What You’ll Need: - California Special Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Early Childhood Special Education authorization required - English Learner (EL) authorization required - Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred - Strong collaboration, classroom management, and communication skills - Comfort working in a structured early childhood special education environment Compensation & Benefits: - Earn up to $60/hour on W-2 or $70/hour on 1099, based on experience - Full-time, school-year assignment - Ongoing support from the Liricare team - Flexible engagement options (W-2 or 1099) Ready to Apply?
