About the role:
You’ll be serving veterans and their families at the CalVet Los Angeles facility, supporting a population that truly values the care you provide.
What you’ll do:
- Provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver both one-on-one and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, OTs/PTs, and care teams
- Participate in care conferences and treatment planning meetings
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (CFY candidates welcome)
- Experience with neurogenic disorders and dysphagia is a plus
- Comfort working in a medical or interdisciplinary setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
