ABOUT THE ROLE
Liricare is hiring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join a school-based special education program in Aberdeen, Washington.
This is an in-person opportunity to support students with a variety of speech and language needs while working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed both academically and socially.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assisting with speech and language screenings and therapy activities
- Implementing treatment plans and IEP goals developed by the supervising SLP
- Collecting therapy data and documenting student progress
- Assisting with classroom observations and communication support
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and school staff
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation
- Supporting students with a wide range of communication disorders in a school-based setting

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$37–$40/hour on W-2

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree meeting Washington SLPA requirements
- Active Washington State SLPA credential or eligibility to obtain one
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
