About
I'm a speech-language pathologist with experience across diverse clinical settings—outpatient clinics, public schools, and therapeutic boarding programs for students with autism and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. This varied background shaped my understanding of how different environments, relationships, and modalities impact learning and communication. I now direct Speaking of Horses, a nonprofit providing equine-assisted speech therapy to children with nonverbal autism from low-income families, combining evidence-based clinical practice with the unique therapeutic power of working with horses.
Expertise and Specializations
As a specialist in autism spectrum disorder—particularly nonverbal and minimally verbal communication—I provide individualized, evidence-based speech-language pathology services. My clinical expertise spans expressive and receptive language, articulation, fluency, and feeding disorders. I'm also the founder and director of Speaking of Horses, a nonprofit that delivers speech therapy through equine-assisted intervention for children from low-income families, recognizing that therapeutic relationships and movement-based learning can powerfully support communication development.
