Camille Norgbey

With over a decade of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs across grades K–6, I bring a strong foundation in individualized instruction, inclusive practices, and collaborative team support.

I am a dual-certified special education teacher with experience in multiple public school systems, including New York City Public Schools, Arlington Public Schools, and Fairfax Public Schools. Throughout my career, I have worked with students with a wide range of disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional and behavioral challenges. My approach centers on creating structured, supportive, and engaging learning environments where all students can thrive academically and socially.

I have extensive experience developing and implementing IEPs, differentiating instruction, and using data-driven strategies to monitor student progress. I pride myself on my ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues, ensuring a collaborative approach to each child’s success. I also excel at adapting curriculum materials to meet individual needs while maintaining high expectations for student growth.

In addition to my classroom experience, I am deeply committed to fostering confidence and independence in my students. I strive to create a positive classroom culture that encourages perseverance, celebrates progress, and supports each student’s unique strengths.
