About
I am an Educational Therapist and Special Education professional with over 24 years of experience creating access points to learning for neurodivergent and diverse learners—and supporting the adults who teach and care for them.
My work centers on translating grade-level curriculum into adaptive, literacy-based, and experiential learning experiences that make concepts click for students who struggle in traditional instructional models. Through hands-on learning, visual supports, structured teaching, and real-world application, I help learners access content in ways that reduce frustration and build understanding.
This approach: often referred to as Adaptive Academics—is rooted in a simple but powerful core belief:
" learning becomes possible when we understand how a child learns, why they struggle, and what makes learning meaningful to them."

Work Experience
I am the founder of an educational therapy practice specializing in Adaptive Academics and Literacy Access for neurodivergent learners. Through individualized educational therapy, small-group instruction, teacher mentoring, and family coaching, I help translate grade-level standards into accessible, meaningful learning experiences.
My approach is grounded in understanding each learner’s learning profile, interests, and regulation needs, then designing instruction that supports comprehension, independence, and confidence. In addition to student-facing services, I work with new special education teachers and school teams, offering training, workshops, and informal problem-solving sessions focused on practical, real-world strategies that are often missing from traditional preparation programs.
Educational therapy in this model is not about fixing deficits—it is about designing access, supporting adults, and creating conditions where learning can happen without constant frustration.
