About

I am a pediatric speech language pathologist at an outpatient pediatric clinic in my clinical fellowship year. I am projected to earn my certificate of clinical competence (CCC) early March 2025. My journey in this field has been an incredible exploration of the intricate world of communication, and I'm thrilled to share my experiences and connect with like-minded professionals. As I navigate my SLP journey, I bring a wealth of hands-on clinical experience to the table.

• Administered in-person therapy and evaluations across diverse speech and language disorder areas, including childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorder, Fragile X syndrome, Dravet syndrome, Down syndrome, high-tech AAC users, attention-deficit disorder, and speech sound disorders.

• Employed a holistic approach with a range of therapy techniques and tools: incorporating Theory of Mind tasks, PROMPT cueing, dynamic tactile and temporal cueing, Pam Marshalla's cueing hierarchy, aided language stimulation, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and incidental AAC teaching.

My goal is to contribute to the enhancement of communication and the quality of life for individuals across the lifespan. I believe in the power of collaboration, empathy, and tailoring interventions to meet individual needs. Let's connect, share insights, and inspire one another on this journey toward enriching lives through effective communication!
