The NSF/SBIR Phase 2 project, titled EASI-AS, aims to revolutionize the field of speech and language evaluation, with a secondary focus on autism screening, using sophisticated acoustic analyses of speech samples. Featuring advanced AI-based technology, the project seeks to provide highly accurate assessments of children's language development needs. The technology is designed to be non-biased, accessible, and cost-effective. It will offer personalized recommendation strategies based on identified areas of need, capturing key metrics like Mean Length of Utterance (MLU), social functions, intelligibility, and other metrics. The project also aims to identify social and environmental factors affecting communication development. Check out the autism screener piece of the NSF phase 2 project here: https://www.easi-as.com/
