About
Having grown up in foster care, I have desired to ensure all students have the support to be successful. Even prior to entering the teaching field, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest in technology, and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with schools who have consistently earned a positive reputation for celebrating diversity, achieving academic excellence, and using technology as a learning tool. It would be an honor to continue supporting others’ learning with a company that maintains high standards and provides others with the support they need to be successful. My qualifications include more than 12 years of special education teaching experience, a B.S. degree in elementary/special education and an English endorsement, and a current professional educator license in several states. In my most recent positions as a remote special educator for multiple schools across the nation, I continuously collaborated with teachers in grades K-12 to ensure those students with disabilities had access to the general education curriculum in their least restrictive environment. As a facilitator of learning and success, my mission has always been to provide effective classroom management, creative and engaging opportunities for learners to discover their own learning, and continuous community involvement.
