Millie Kim

I am a speech-pathologist with 10 years of experience and am a former NYC teacher for 6 years. I possess two master’s degrees, one in English language education and one in speech-language pathology. Although I’m a native New Yorker, I’m a licensed speech-pathologist in 5 states: NY, NJ, PA, VT and now CA. During my time as a speech therapist, I’ve worked in many school districts, early intervention and clinic-based settings. I feel that my unique experiences have trained me to work efficiently with a wide range of populations and backgrounds. I have also participated in numerous professional development workshops which have strengthened my practice. As a speech therapist, I’ve encountered a variety of language disorders, such as apraxia of speech (AOS), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy, developmental disorders, mixed expressive/ receptive language delays, pragmatic delays, and more. I love making therapy fun, since that is the best way students learn. I have worked with children for over 15 years, and I love working with families to help maximize success.
