Rinki Varindani Desai

Rinki Varindani Desai, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCS-S, CDP is a multilingual medical speech-language pathologist, board-certified swallowing disorders specialist, certified dementia practitioner, health tech entrepreneur, and digital product strategist. She is the founder of Theratactix, a digital health consulting firm, and co-founder of the Swallowing Training and Education Portal, a dysphagia e-learning platform. She also founded the Medical SLP Forum community and co-created the mobile app Dysphagia Therapy. Additionally, she serves as a Board member for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Burgundy and White, a non-profit dedicated to head and neck cancer survivors. With 15 years of experience working as an adult medical SLP in various healthcare settings, Rinki has been actively involved in clinical education, research, and leadership initiatives at national and international levels. Her dedication to clinical service and patient advocacy has earned her several awards in both India and the United States. Originally from Mumbai, India, Rinki now practices in Jackson, Mississippi. Beyond her professional endeavors, she enjoys being a mom and wife, cooking, reading, traveling, and connecting with like-minded changemakers in the SLP field and beyond.
