Speech Pathologists can greatly benefit from understanding the power of their subconscious minds. 95% of our thoughts and behaviors are ruled by the subconscious minds. Subconscious mind reprogramming can help prevent burnout, release implicit biases and phobias, and create a better quality of life for clinicians.

As SLPs we should take our mental health seriously. Without a regulated mind, we can't possibly serve our clients to the best of our abilities. Here are some tips I recommend to Praxis Preppers, and I think certified SLPs can benefit from these tips too!

1. Notice the signs and seek help when needed.
2. Know you're not alone.
3. Practice self-love.
4. Seek professional help.
5. Notify your support system.
